Three Cheers for RMH: Cheers for Charity!

Grab your pom-poms, your biggest bow, and get your jumps ready, because Cheers for Charity is just around the corner! We have been working hard preparing for this exciting event, and on April 9 the cheer mats will be rolled out and everyone's favorite philanthropy event will take place! All of the proceeds from this event will wholeheartedly benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities, which will help support families with children who are critically ill or injured. Get your planners out, because we have rewarding and delicious (yes, delicious!) events hitting the University of Central Florida leading up to Cheers for Charity. 

One of our most popular fundraising events prior to Cheers for Charity is our annual Pizza at the Pi — a day we invite the University of Central Florida community into our house for a delicious dinner. Spoiler alert! This year Lazy Moon will be catering, so grab your wallets! If you love pizza and want to participate in a gratifying cause, scurry on over to the Alpha Delta Pi house (Alphie will be waiting) on Monday, April 7 from 5-7 p.m. Who said you couldn’t eat pizza for charity?

If for some reason you can’t make it to Pizza at the Pi, don’t worry; we still have another opportunity for you to help Ronald McDonald House Charities. You will get the chance to see our smiling faces tabling at the Student Union on Tuesday, April 8 from 10 a.m. -1 p.m., where you can drop off pop-tabs and donations.  Don’t forget pop-tabs and donations are calculated into the competition. Start collecting!

Finally, the big day will be April 9 at the UCF Venue. We will begin at 7 p.m. sharp, but make sure to come on over a little earlier, because doors open at 6 p.m. At Cheers for Charity we have exciting prizes being raffled off for a suggested donation of $1. Prizes include Southern Proper, Ideal Image, Jeremiah’s Italian Ice, Caroline Hill jewelry, Sol Y Luna and so much more! We have a busy week ahead of us, but all for a truly worthwhile cause. Get ready for a fun-filled week of Alpha Delta Pi and the Ronald McDonald House. We can’t wait to see all the hard work your organizations have put into this wonderful event. Bring it on!
