ADPi's Cheers for Charity Raises over $20,000 for Ronald McDonald House!

When I say "ADPI" you say "Loves RMH!" UCF Alpha Delta Pi just had the pleasure of hosting our annual event, Cheers for Charity. Fraternities and Sororities worked tirelessly for weeks perfecting their cheer routines and fundraising to help support our favorite philanthropy, Ronald McDonald House. The mission of Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) is to create, find and support programs that directly improve the health and wellbeing of children. Guiding them in their mission are their core values: Focusing on the critical needs of children.

This year thanks to the support from UCF Greek life and the passion of our philanthropy chair, Whitley Simpson, our event raised over $20,000 dollars for Ronald McDonald House Charities!

Accompanying this highly anticipated event was Pizza at the Pi. For this event, we hosted a pizza party from everyone's favorite caterer- Lazy Moon! Guests enjoyed delicious pizza and beverages at the ADPi house and built up their excitement for Cheers for Charity.

Everyone's routines were outstanding this year; to see full length videos of every routine, follow this link to Knight News: http://tinyurl.com/mqu73rr.  This year's first place winners for sorority and fraternity dance routine were Kappa Delta and Theta Chi, respectively. The overall winners of this event were the members of Sigma Pi fraternity.

Every year during Cheers for Charity, we announce the winners of our Lion King competition. These men act as our sweet hearts for the duration of the year and are recognized for raising the most money towards Ronald McDonald House. Congratulations to this year's winners from Kappa Sigma, Josh Grewal and Seb Rougemont! We are so thankful for all you've done for Ronald McDonald House and look forward to this next year!
